Spring Recital

The Future Belongs to You 2017

Dance Scene Studios presents…

ANNUAL SPRING RECITAL

June 8th & 9th

Classes will perform in 1 of the recitals and the corresponding Dress Rehearsal is mandatory. Each Recital will be approximately 2 hours depending on the number of cameos and dances.

Students need to have full costume, full make-up, and correct hair style at Dress Rehearsals. Parents are responsible for hair and costume changes for dress rehearsal, but our back stage parents will assist the dancers during the performance. Please remember shoes and tights, as they are an important part of the costume.

NOTE to Dancers: As always…no nail polish, no jewelry, no piercings, no tattoos, no underwear, and no gum. Permanent tattoos MUST be covered with concealer. Gages MUST be covered with flesh colored band aids.

All photography should be done at Dress Rehearsal ONLYPhotography and video-taping is not permitted during the performance. This is a copyrighted event and NO RECORDING AND VIDEO TAPING WILL BE PERMITTED. Please be advised that you will be asked to leave the performance if you are videotaping during the performance.

Dance Scene Studios will run through the full program.  This includes: stage blocking, lights, sound, and any corrections necessary to make recital a success.

All dancers may leave Dress Rehearsal after their dance is finished, but MUST remain back stage at Recital until the entire Recital is complete.  At dress rehearsal, dancers need to sit in assigned rows.  Parents, please sit in the parents seating section.

Dance Scene Studios will have a concessions stand open for Dress Rehearsal

**Please DO NOT eat in your costumes!***

Students MUST remain back stage until the entire performance is finished. Students WILL NOT be released early. Please inform all guests that they will not be allowed back stage at any time, including Intermission, to see the performers. This is for the safety of all dancers. Please DO NOT ask to pick your dancer up early from the performance.

All seating is general admission. Tickets are $10. Recital T-shirts are $15.

PARENTS: Parent volunteers are necessary to make the recital run smoothly and successfully. Please contact Ms. Jen if you are interested in helping. Thank you!!
